Solar Equipment
The current 1BOG program with Real Goods Solar provides the following standard equipment.
Panels:
Sharp 175W - This is a monocrystalline panel that offers superior efficiency to polycrystalline panels with optimal price/performance. These panels carry at 25 year warranty.
Inverters:
Enphase - The Enphase inverter is a micro-inverter. Each individual panel has its own inverter. This offers many benefits to standard stand-alone inverters. Since each panel has its own inverter, the output of the entire array is not affected by any loss of production (e.g., due to shading) on a single panel. The Enphase inverters carry a 10 year warranty.
Free online monitoring:
